The Alhambra and Generalife Trust is an Autonomous Body associated with the Ministry of Culture of the Junta of Andalusia, created by Decree 59/1986 of the 19th of March.

The Alhambra and Generalife trust is in charge of the protection, administration and conservation of the Monumental Complex of the Alhambra and Generalife, and Andalusian buildings associated for management and located in the city of Granada.

From its foundation three decades ago to today, the Alhambra and Generalife Trust has ensured the preservation and conservation of this Monument. Additionally, the Trust undertakes new projects and activities each day which help to raise awareness of this legacy among all its visitors.
