Programme description

To strengthen heritage skills and competences, FARO offers a comprehensive training programme. From theory to practice, from basic knowledge to experimentation, for starters as well as seasoned heritage workers, from one-off sessions to longer training series: you can find it all in our training calendar.  For the core functions of heritage we offer on yearly basic courses of 2-4 days) These courses are very much practice oriented. 

Currently you can follow courses on topics like:

- Participation in heritage organisations

- Collection management and registration

- Copyright of art works and texts

- Significance assessment of collections

- Intangible heritage

- Communication for heritage organisations

We are currently designing a basic course on Oral History for heritage workers
