Programme description

The Restoration department in the master's program is structured into the practical and theoretical restoration. Based on the direction chosen for the master's thesis, a summary of the specific topics of the master's thesis is studied within the framework of study courses, solutions to the problems of each thesis are discussed, thereby theoretically increasing the experience of each student. Student's knowledge is continuously supplemented with what has not yet been acquired and introduced to current news in the specialty.

Students try new restoration materials and methods in practical courses. During their studies, students study the object to be restored for the master's thesis, develop a restoration program and methodology. After that, students themselves carry out the relevant restoration work and complete the documentation of the work to be restored.

Students without experience in restoration are not admitted to the master's program in restoration. Relevant education or proof of internship with a master is required.

The Master's thesis in the restoration sub-sector is created as a research work.
