Management of cultural heritage

The training programme was developed by the project "Professional development in the field of cultural heritage", funded by the National Scientific Programme "Cultural and Historical Heritage, National Memory and Social Development" / MC Decision № 577 of 17.08.2018. It offers postgraduate qualification for specialists working in central and local government, as well as in memory institutions - museums, libraries and archives, who want to expand their professional competence with knowledge and skills in the field of cultural heritage management. The structure of the programme includes (1) general and (2) a specific part which allows the professional to develop their professional competence in view of their preferences and interests. The general part includes 3 compulsory subjects, where the trainee must also choose
4 specialised subjects tailored to the training profile - management of cultural heritage. The training programme ends with the issue of a postgraduate certificate. To support the trainee, a video guide which presents the possibilities of searching and using information resources on the movable and immovable cultural heritage of
Bulgaria, as well as legal and regulatory acts for their preservation, socialization, use and management. The video guide was produced under the SkillFoster project (E+ 2023-1-BG01-KA220-HED-000153432), co-funded by the European Commission.
