The Restoration department in the master's program is structured into the practical and theoretical restoration. Based on the direction chosen for the master's thesis, a summary of the specific topics of the master's thesis is studied within the framework of study courses, solutions to the problems of each thesis are discussed, thereby theoretically increasing the experience of each student

The studies in the Department of Restoration incorporate academic subjects, as well as subject blocks that provide theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the restoration of easel paintings and monumental paintings. Theoretical restoration disciplines include painting technology and specialty chemistry. Lectures tackle research of the structure of the artwork, damage diagnostics, and
